Official Contest Rules
1. Prize: Qualifying prize is a $50 gift certificate to Hannaford Supermarkets. Grand Prize is a $10,000 Furniture Makeover at Country Woods Furniture. Grand Prize Makeover consists of any combination of the following Country Woods products/brands/vendors totaling $10,000; not to exceed the values listed:

Spring Air Mattress $1000
Young Furniture $3000
Delivery is included. Factory finishing is included. Custom finishing is excluded. Installation is not available and is not included.
2. 2. How to win: Sign-ups for the “WZID’s Bring Home The Goods From Country Woods $10,000 Furniture Makeover” contest will run April 28th through May 23rd, 2008. To register to win, listeners must complete the entry blank IN FULL, complete with their name, address, phone number, email address and date of birth at www.wzid.com or by emailing wzidpromotions@wzid.com or by registering at Country Woods, 311 Route 27, Raymond, NH 03077 in person. In the event a listener does not have access to the internet to complete the registration form, they will be permitted to mail a postcard to 95.7 WZID, “WZID’s Get the Goods From Country Woods $10,000 Home Makeover,” 500 Commercial Street, Manchester, NH 03101 with their name, address, phone number and date of birth. All entries must be received by Friday, May 23rd at Noon. Contesting will run May 5th through May 23rd with two winners being announced each week day at various times for 15 days, one name will be drawn through WZID and the other from Country Woods. During those specfic hours a name will be called every 10 minutes until a winner calls back.Times to listen will be announced at 7:20am and 8:20am each week day during the Morning Show and WZID Email Club members will receive the times for the following week in their weekly email. The winner must call 603-666-0957 or 800-666-0957 within 10 minutes of hearing their name to qualify. Of the 30 qualifiers, 10 will be chosen at random to be semi-finalists and will be contacted on Friday May 23rd. The top 10 finalists must be present at Country Woods, 311 Route 27, Raymond, NH no later than 11:30 am on Saturday, May 24th in order to receive semi-finalist prize ($100 gift certificate to Country Woods) and be eligible for the Grand Prize drawing. Any qualifier who is not present by 11:30am will automatically forfeit their qualifying prize. One additional qualifier will be selected through a drawing at Country Woods on Saturday May 24th. The 1 Grand Prize finalist will be chosen from those 11 semi-finalists through a reverse drawing. All contest participants will be entered into the WZID Email Club Database.
3. 3. WZID cannot be responsible for a listener’s inability to complete the required entry or call to win whether due to equipment malfunction, timing, transportation, or telephone difficulties. Odds of winning cannot be determined at this time and depends on the number of listeners entering into the contest. Note: Due to the nature of our programs that are heard on-line over the Internet, contests heard on the radio station’s Internet audio stream are slightly delayed from the time the contests are heard on the broadcast station, and will be running behind the broadcast signal. Thus, all contests heard are delayed. This delay can last for as much as 30 seconds or more. This means that when WZID contests are played that require a specific caller to telephone the radio station (such as “caller number 9 when you hear your name”), listeners to the on-line audio stream may be at a disadvantage in participating over those listeners who hear the contests on-air.
4. 4. Who’s Eligible: Must be 18 years or older to win. Contest is open to any resident of New Hampshire or Massachesetts who lives within the WZID listening area except employees, their families, officers, directors and stockholders of Manchester Radio Group, Inc., its parent companies and principals, their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees, and immediate families of each, any other radio station listed in the Southern New Hampshire Market Definition or any of the affiliates and agencies involved in the production or distribution of materials for this giveaway. One entry per household will be permitted to participate in a contest. The individual/household is permitted to win only one prize every 90 days. The Grand Prize winner/household must wait 1-year to play any other WZID contest. WZID reserves the right to disqualify any winner if the contest rules have been violated.
5. 5. WZID reserves the right to postpone or extend the contest dates.
6. 6. This contest is void where prohibited.
7. 7. Winner’s Release: Prize winner must present valid identification and sign a release a) permitting reasonable use of name, voice, likeness, and biographical information and b) releasing Manchester Radio Group, Inc., any of the participating sponsors, their officers, directors, stockholders, and employees from any and all claims, liabilities and damages arising directly or indirectly out of award or use of the prize. In accordance with IRS regulations, any winner receiving prize(s) valued at $600 or more in a given calendar year will be furnished a copy of IRS Form 1099 (miscellaneous income). The winner agrees to waive any claim of royalty or right of remuneration for any such promotional use and agrees not to appear on, or on behalf of, any radio or TV station for a period of one (1) year after acceptance of prize. Photo I.D. and Social Security card must be present and will be photocopied for tax purposes only.
8. 8. Qualifying prizes ($50 Hannaford Supermarkets gift certificates) may be mailed or picked up at the station. WZID does not accept responsibility if prizes get lost or stolen in the mail. All semi-finalist qualifying prizes ($100 Country Woods gift certificate) must be claimed on May 24th at Country Woods, 311 Route 27, Raymond, NH 03077. The winner is required to present a valid article of identification as described above at this time and will be required to pick up the prize themselves. No substitute will be allowed to pick up prizes, no exceptions. All identification submitted to verify a winner is subject to acceptance by WZID in its sole discretion. Identification, which is counterfeit, illegible, tampered with or otherwise altered, will not be accepted. All prizes are to be claimed within 30 days of date of issue, unless otherwise noted. Any prize not claimed within the allotted time period would remain the sole property of WZID or participating sponsor.
9. 9. The person who calls WZID to win/claim any prize and the person redeeming the prize must be one and the same, and will be considered the sole and exclusive winner. Winner will be obligated to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and provide their social security/tax identification number before receiving the prizes. Failure to comply with any requirement of these terms and conditions will result in the winning entrant being deemed ineligible for award. All prize-winners are responsible for any federal, state, and local taxes as well as any additional expenses incurred with use of the prize.
10. 10. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, non-assignable and are not redeemable for cash.
11. 11. One winner per household, one winner per family for the duration of this contest. The term family shall include spouses, parents, children, grandparents, grandchildren and cohabiting significant others.
12. 12. No purchase is necessary.
13. 13. Where applicable; WZID, affiliates, participating sponsors, their agencies and the like, or any member thereof, makes no claims of merchantability of Prize. See manufacturer(s) for complete warranty and operating instructions as it pertains to Prize.
14. 14. In the event the winner is subject to, or the subject of, any order or legal process issued by any governmental agency having jurisdiction over the affairs of the winner, (e.g. garnishment, child support order, judgment, lien and the like), Manchester Radio Group’ delivery of the prize to the official representative of the governmental entity claiming a right to the prize shall be entitled to rely in good faith upon any documents presented by the representatives seeking to collect the prize in lieu of the winner. Presentation of the prize to such authorized representative or entity shall be deemed as the same as having given the prize directly to the winner. Manchester Radio Group, Inc./Saga Communications, Inc. shall not be liable for any claim by winner for damage incidental thereto.
15. 15. Rules are subject to change without notice. Official contest rules are available weekdays at our Manchester studios located on 500 Commercial Street during regular business hours and will air on WZID for the duration of the contest.
16. 16. All decisions of WZID concerning this contest or eligibility are final.
