Mark your calenders: WZID's 12th annual Chill & Grill Blood Drive is scheduled for Wednesday, July 16th, from 11:00 a.m. till 7:00 p.m., at Nashua South High School. Over the years our listeners have donated almost 4900 pints of blood to the American Red Cross at this summer drive.
There will be big changes this year, though. To help eliminate inordinate waits, we will be accepting donor appointments to get people in and out the door in an hour. Walk-in donors will still be welcome, but if you don't make an appointment you will wait longer to donate blood. You can even schedule an appointment right now by clicking here.

Manchester's Airport: Flying Through Time Ed co-authored the book on the history of Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (which marked its 80th birthday in November!). The 432-page book is in its third printing and features more than 300 photos and illustrations.

His first book, "Granite & Ether: A Chronicle of New Hampshire Broadcasting," is a detailed history of New Hampshire radio and television stations. You can get one from the NH Association of Broadcasters.
What's on Ed's TV? "Eureka" on SciFi, CSI (prefer Las Vegas/Miami/New Yorks casts in that order), Animal Planet, "Mythbusters" or "Dirty Jobs" on Discovery, and Nancy Robbins' infomercials on TV50.
Mac or PC: Definitely PC.
Ed's Famous Cousin: Maybe you saw Corina Brouder sing and play the harp on NBC's "America's Got Talent." She didn't make the final cut but she is still part of a very talented family of musicians.
Corina's parents come from the same village in County Limerick, Ireland as Ed's ancestors. While they've never met, the families have corresponded for genealogy purposes. For more info on Corina visit her website and sign her Guestbook (say her cousin was talking about her on the radio) click here.
